Vegan Indian Restaurant in Playa de las Américas, Tenerife

A FULL, DEDICATED VEGAN MENU NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT. OPEN EVERY DAY, 3PM–11PM.

South Indian kitchens have never needed to invent vegan food — it was always there. At Tinge of Turmeric, we serve a complete, dedicated vegan menu in the heart of Playa de las Américas: pakoras and chaats to start, coconut and tomato curries built around tofu, soy, vegetables, mushrooms and raw jackfruit, fragrant biryanis, comforting dals and warm vegan flatbreads. Every vegan dish is made with plant-based butter, cream and yogurt, so nothing is lost in flavour. This is vegan food in Tenerife that eats like a feast, not a compromise.

Vegan by Tradition, Not by Trend

Most restaurants bolt a vegan option onto an existing menu. We don't have to. South Indian cooking has always leaned on lentils, rice, coconut and vegetables, which means a huge part of what we cook is plant-based by heritage, not by substitution. Here's what sets our vegan offering apart

Full Dedicated Vegan Menu

Soups, salads, starters, curries, biryanis, rice and breads—not just one or two token dishes.

Real Plant-Based Richness

We use vegan butter, cream and yogurt, so curries stay creamy and indulgent.

Cooked Fresh to Your Spice Level

From a mild, creamy korma all the way to a fiery vindaloo or phall.

Naturally Dairy-Free Options

Enjoy dairy-free alternatives throughout the entire selection, thanks to a coconut-based South Indian foundation.

Vegan Favourites

Including tofu, soy and raw jackfruit (kathal) curries, tofu and soy biryanis, and dals like yellow dal tadka and palak dal.
